INSPECTRA Laser Methane Detector

Gas leak detection and the monitoring of natural gas distribution networks

Developed by GAZOMAT™ for gas leak detection and the monitoring of natural gas distribution networks, the INSPECTRA® Laser Methane Detector is a highly sensitive detector that uses infrared absorption detection and laser technology with a tuneable diode laser spectroscopy Herriot cell sensor. The combination of both technologies makes it an extremely efficient tool, offering all the advantages of optical detection.

Unique features:
- Total selectivity to methane (no false measurements due to the presence of hydrocarbons or other pollutants).
- 1 ppm sensitivity to methane
- Extended measurement range from 1 ppm to 100% gas Volume, thus covering the entire field detection applications – network survey, gas leak detection and localisation.
- Instant response time.

Easy to use:
- Easy access to standard and advanced functions via the keypad and the scroll menu.
- Light and compact design for the operator’s greatest comfort
- Easy to read measurement display
- Provided with a complete set of accessories

Explosion-proof to ATEX certification
- Can be used safely indoors and outdoors as well as in hazardous areas (no hydrogen).

Traceability of survey mission with the GPS Tablet system
- Used in combination with the GAZOMAT™ exclusive GPS Tablet system, the INSPECTRA® Laser ensures total traceability of survey missions by recording longitude and latitude coordinates of gas leak detected as well as their concentration level.

A wide scope of applications
- Natural gas network survey
- Detection and localisation of gas leaks
- Monitoring of methanation plants
