Tiger Optics
Tiger Optics introduced the world’s first commercial “Continuous Wave Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy” (CW CRDS) analyzer in 2001. Today, Tigers are found on every continent except Antarctica. Robust units from Tiger now monitor more than 1,000 critical points at semiconductor fabrication plants, LED makers, and gas manufacturers. Tigers are also at work in 13 of the world’s national metrology laboratories, serving as transfer standards to qualify calibration gases.
The company never rests. Since introducing the HALO in 2006, Tiger has added the HALO+ in 2007 and the Tiger-i in 2008. The manufacturer rolled out Tiger-i’s for atmospheric monitoring of greenhouse gases and unveiled the Prismatic, the first broadband multi-species CW CRDS analyzer, in 2009. In 2010, Tiger introduced the ALOHA, exclusively for the High Brightness LED market.
Awards for Excellence: Tiger is a two-time winner of the Golden Gas trophy presented by Gases & Instrumentation International since 2008. The publication awarded its “BEST OF SHOW” prize and Golden Gas trophy to Tiger Optics and its Prismatic™ Multi-Species Gas Analyzer at PITTCON 2010, attended by some 950 exhibitors.
